GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AT TFLAGS.COM

The Tflags.com online store is operated by OÜ 5-Õiget (hereinafter the Company), a legal entity registered under code 12739319, with its address at Pärnu mnt 82-74, 10131 Tallinn, Harju County.
These general principles address the collection, processing, and use of personal data when offering and providing services by the Company.
This document provides general information on what data the Company collects and processes to achieve the described purposes.
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is information voluntarily provided by individuals and collected by the Company when offering and providing services, including executing transactions with customers and delivering goods. Personal data may also be used for direct marketing purposes, provided the customer has given consent.
Such data may include the person's first and last name, date of birth, and email address, and, if necessary, address and phone number. In the case of bank payments, the customer's account number and bank name.
The Company does not use or disclose the customer’s personal data without the customer’s consent.
Personal data collection may occur only with the customer’s consent and in the following ways:
- The customer provides their data through the newsletter subscription link on tflags.com.
- The Company receives confirmation of identity and/or successful payment from the respective service provider.
When authenticating or signing confirmations via ID-card or Mobile-ID, the customer must follow the security requirements and recommendations provided by the relevant developers. We recommend reviewing additional information at http://mobiil.id.ee and http://www.id.ee.
PURPOSE OF COLLECTING AND PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The collected personal data is used to inform customers about T-Flags news, campaigns, offers, and events and to carry out transactions between the parties, including product delivery.
When requesting card data, secure SSL data transmission, MasterCard SecureCode, and Verified by Visa security systems are used.
The Company does not have access to the entered card data. Transactions are processed in the secure environment of Montonio (Montonio Finance OÜ, www.montonio.com). Card data is entered by the cardholder into a database located on Montonio’s server and is also stored there.
The Company collects, compiles, and analyzes data to obtain information such as:
- Statistics on newsletter openings,
- Statistics on link clicks within newsletters.
Personal data necessary for the delivery of goods to the customer is forwarded to courier service providers.
The Company does not distribute, transmit, alter, or use entrusted personal data in any unintended way, unless agreed upon with the customer or required by Estonian legislation.
CUSTOMER RIGHTS
The customer has the right at any time to request a copy of the data collected about them by the Company, as well as to request modification or deletion of their data.
The customer also has the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority regarding the Company's data processing.
PROTECTION AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
Access to the customer’s personal data is granted only to authorized parties providing services to the Company (e.g., server and cloud service providers, postal and transportation companies), who are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of shared data. An authorized party includes the company managing Tflags newsletters.
STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
The Company retains customer personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection, to protect the Company’s rights, and as required by applicable laws.
COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL DATA
Non-personal data is information that cannot be directly linked to a specific individual (e.g., age, gender, place of residence). The Company uses cookies on its website tflags.com to collect general statistics about site traffic. The online store does not track individual user behavior.
A cookie is a text file sent and stored on the user’s computer by websites visited. It is stored in the user’s browser directory. If the user has previously visited the site, the browser reads the cookie and relays the relevant information to the website or element that initially saved it. Website users have the right to disable the use of cookies by adjusting their browser settings.
CHANGES TO GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
By submitting their data and using the tflags.com website, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the Company’s general principles of personal data processing. The Company reserves the right to amend these principles. Notifications of such changes will be posted on the tflags.com website, where the current principles are always available.
